Meet Scott…..
Scott Montgomery is a graduate of Colorado Christian University with a degree in Elementary Education. Scott grew up on a farm in Eden, Idaho with his father, Don, his mother, Shelley, and his brother, Jason. He enjoys sports, the outdoors, reading books, and playing his guitar. Scott will be returning to South Side Elementary to continue teaching 3rd grade and is excited to continue engaging with his students and in the community at large. Scott will continue assisting with football in the fall and looks forward to new opportunities to grow.
Although it was hard to leave beautiful Colorado Scott is looking forward to exploring the Great Frontier in Northern Montana. Scott has a heart for the missions field and was touched when he heard about this community in need. Pray that he can continue to be an example of a Godly man, that he can provide a joyful, safe learning environment, and that he lives out the Gospel to the community in Wolf Point.
Meet Hannah…..
Hannah is a recent graduate from Colorado Christian University that is joining the Tikkun Olam family as a 1st grade teacher at South Side Elementary. Hannah is originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado and is an avid runner doing both cross country and track throughout her collegiate career. She loves to read and is a continuous learner seeking information from all kinds places.
Hannah has been praying for an opportunity to use her teaching skills and serve in a community of great need. She was excited to hear about Tikkun Olam and quickly felt like God was calling her to the Reservation. She looks forward to growing her teaching skills, becoming involved in the community and understanding the stories and perspectives of the people on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation along side the Tikkun Olam family. Hannah knows this will be a challenging and growing year for her but is faithful that God will encourage her to keep understanding and loving His people
